Distribute Your Hotlinked Headlines with MoreOver's Latest Competitor

SUMMARY: No summary available
About a year and a half ago, Mike Krus, a news junky in Paris
France, got fed up with "going around to 50 sites every morning
to see what's new." So, he and a friend created NewsIsFree.com.
The site offers visitors free, hotlinked headline feeds from 1409
news outlets across the globe, including The New York Times, BBC
World and ContentBiz.

Basically it's a lot like MoreOver.com, only with a twist: very
soon users will be able to build their own custom newsfeeds by
choosing which publishers' headlines they'd like to receive.
(MoreOver currently offers headline feeds by topic only.)

In the grand (and sometimes annoying) tradition of the early
Internet, Krus doesn't expect to make any money with this. He
told us, "We're not really a company. Just a two-man operation
managing a tool that kind of got out of hand." He definitely
plans to keep his non-Internet-related day job.

Publishers who'd like to have their hotlinked headlines offered
through the NewsIsFree.com service should send Krus a note with
the location of their XML files, or the location of the pages on
their site(s) that NewsIsFree.com should regularly scrub for
updates.
